Getting Started

• Import a document — Tap the + button in the Library tab and pick a PDF, TXT, or RTF file from the Files app. The file is copied into the app's private on-device storage.
• Read & highlight — Open a document to read it. Select text to highlight (4 colors) or translate.
• Use AI — Tap the AI button inside a document to summarize it, ask questions about it, or turn your highlights into a structured note.

Frequently Asked Questions

The AI features (Summary / Ask / Translate) are greyed out or say my device isn't supported.

DeepRead's AI runs on Apple Intelligence, which requires an Apple Intelligence–capable device (iPhone 15 Pro or later) running a compatible version of iOS with Apple Intelligence enabled. On unsupported devices, reading and highlighting still work normally, but the on-device AI (summarize / ask / translate) is unavailable. This is a hardware requirement from Apple, not a bug.

Does my document get uploaded anywhere?

No. DeepRead has no network access at all — it is technically unable to communicate with the outside world. All AI processing happens on your device using Apple's on-device models. Your documents, highlights, and notes are stored only on your device and are never uploaded, including to us or to Apple.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free lets you store up to 3 documents and use 5 AI actions per month. DeepRead Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase (not a subscription) that unlocks unlimited documents, unlimited AI actions, and Markdown note export.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Settings → Restore Purchases in the app. Your DeepRead Pro entitlement is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored at any time.

How do I delete my data?

Inside the app, go to Settings → Storage to delete individual documents or reset all data. Because everything is stored only on your device, uninstalling the app also removes all data. There is no server copy.

The AI summary/answer looks incomplete or wrong.

AI-generated summaries, translations, and answers come from an on-device language model and may be incomplete or inaccurate. DeepRead is a reading aid, not a substitute for reviewing the original document, and is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Always verify important details against the source document.

시작하기

• 문서 가져오기 — 라이브러리 탭의 + 버튼을 눌러 파일 앱에서 PDF/TXT/RTF를 선택합니다. 파일은 앱의 비공개 기기 저장소로 복사됩니다.
• 읽기 · 하이라이트 — 문서를 열어 읽고, 텍스트를 선택해 형광펜(4색) 또는 번역을 사용합니다.
• AI 사용 — 문서 안에서 AI 버튼을 눌러 요약, 질문, 하이라이트 노트 생성을 이용합니다.

내 문서가 어딘가로 업로드되나요?

아니요. DeepRead는 네트워크 권한 자체가 없어 기술적으로 외부와 통신할 수 없습니다. 모든 AI 처리는 기기 내 Apple 모델로 이루어지며, 문서·하이라이트·노트는 기기에만 저장되고 저희나 Apple을 포함해 어디에도 업로드되지 않습니다.

무료와 Pro의 차이는 무엇인가요?

무료는 문서 3건 저장, AI 기능 월 5회입니다. DeepRead Pro는 1회 결제 평생 이용(구독 아님)으로 문서 무제한, AI 기능 무제한, 노트 Markdown 내보내기를 잠금 해제합니다.

새 기기에서 구매를 복원하려면?

앱의 설정 → 구매 복원을 누르세요. DeepRead Pro 권한은 Apple 계정에 연결되어 언제든 복원할 수 있습니다.

데이터를 삭제하려면?

앱의 설정 → 저장 공간에서 개별 문서 삭제 또는 전체 초기화를 할 수 있습니다. 모든 데이터가 기기에만 있으므로 앱을 삭제하면 데이터도 함께 삭제됩니다. 서버 사본은 없습니다.
