Q. 4K 영상이 너무 무거워요. 부드럽게 편집할 수 있나요? 설정에 따라 자동으로 540p H.264 프록시가 생성되어 편집·재생에는 프록시가 사용됩니다. 익스포트는 항상 원본을 사용하므로 결과물 화질은 유지됩니다. 클립 인스펙터의 "PROXY" 섹션에서 수동 생성/제거할 수 있습니다.

Q. 자동 자막은 어떻게 작동하나요? Apple의 음성 인식(SFSpeechRecognizer)을 사용합니다. 일부 언어 모델은 Apple 서버에서 처리될 수 있으며, VisionCut은 변환된 텍스트만 받아 자막 트랙으로 표시합니다. 음성 데이터를 따로 저장·전송하지 않습니다.

Q. iCloud 동기화를 켜면 어떤 데이터가 올라가나요? 프로젝트 폴더 전체(메타데이터·임포트한 영상 사본·프록시 등)가 사용자의 개인 iCloud Drive 컨테이너에 저장됩니다. 외부 서버는 거치지 않으며 개발자도 접근할 수 없습니다. 언제든지 비활성화 가능합니다.

Q. 익스포트 중 앱을 백그라운드로 보내면 어떻게 되나요? iOS의 일반 정책에 따라 백그라운드에서는 일정 시간만 인코딩이 계속되며, 그 후 일시 정지될 수 있습니다. 긴 영상은 화면을 켜둔 채 익스포트하시는 것을 권장합니다.

Q. 트랜지션이나 필터를 적용한 후 시뮬레이터에서 미리보기가 끊겨요. 실기기에서는 훨씬 부드럽게 동작합니다. 시뮬레이터는 GPU 가속이 제한적이므로 미리보기 성능은 참고용입니다.

Q. 프로젝트가 갑자기 사라졌어요. iCloud 동기화가 켜진 상태에서 iCloud 용량이 부족하면 동기화가 중단될 수 있습니다. 설정 > Apple ID > iCloud에서 용량과 동기화 상태를 확인해주세요.

Q. 4K video feels heavy. Can I edit smoothly? A 540p H.264 proxy is generated automatically and used for playback / scrubbing. Export always uses the original, so your output quality is preserved. You can also manually trigger or discard proxies in the clip inspector's "PROXY" section.

Q. How do auto subtitles work? We use Apple's Speech Recognition (SFSpeechRecognizer). Some language models may process audio on Apple's servers; VisionCut receives only the converted text for the caption track. We do not store or transmit audio ourselves.

Q. What goes into iCloud when sync is enabled? Your entire project folder (metadata, imported video copies, proxies, etc.) is stored in your private iCloud Drive container. It never passes through any external server, and the developer cannot access it. You can disable sync at any time.

Q. What happens if I background the app during export? Per iOS policy, encoding continues for a limited time in the background and may then be suspended. For long exports we recommend keeping the screen on.

Q. Preview stutters after applying transitions or filters in the simulator. Real devices are much smoother. The simulator has limited GPU acceleration, so preview performance there is indicative only.

Q. A project disappeared. If iCloud sync is on and iCloud storage is full, syncing can stall. Check Settings → Apple ID → iCloud for storage and sync status.
