WebCast is designed to respect your privacy. We collect nothing. We have no servers, and no data of yours ever reaches us. Your data stays on your device and — if you leave iCloud sync on — in your own iCloud account, which we cannot access.

• No data collection. We have no servers and no analytics. We do not track you.
• On your device. Your browsing history, bookmarks, watch‑later items, playback positions and app settings are stored on your device. They never reach us.
• iCloud sync. On by default; you can turn it off in Settings > iCloud. While on, the data listed above is kept in step across your own devices through your iCloud account. It is stored only with Apple — we cannot read it — and is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Saved FTP server entries sync the same way; their passwords are kept in iCloud Keychain, which Apple protects with end‑to‑end encryption — we never see them.
• Downloaded videos. They stay on your device and are not uploaded, unless you turn on “Keep downloads in iCloud Drive” yourself — then they are stored in your own iCloud Drive. This is off by default.
• Local network. The app uses your local network solely to discover and connect to Chromecast and DLNA devices for casting. This data is not transmitted to us.
• Purchases. In‑app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment information.
• Web browsing. Websites you visit are governed by their own privacy policies.
