None. There is no sign-up, login, analytics or advertising.
The app reads and writes only the files you save, open or export (.partsmith, STL, 3MF) on your own PC. It never uploads them.
The app contacts the Microsoft Store service to check and purchase the paid add-on (Partsmith Pro). Payment and account data are handled by Microsoft; the developer does not receive them. Microsoft Privacy Statement
The app stores an autosave of the open design and its settings (window position, local AI connection port and access token) in its app data folder. So that AI clients can find the app, it also places the connection details (port and access token) and a small connector program in %USERPROFILE%\.partsmith. None of this contains personal information.
While the app is running it opens a local server reachable only from the same PC (127.0.0.1) so that AI clients you register yourself (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex and others) can call its modeling tools. The server cannot be reached from the network and rejects requests without the access token as well as requests from web pages. On request it passes the contents of the open design (features, dimensions and rendered images) to that AI client. The app never receives or stores AI accounts or API keys. Whether your AI client sends that content to its provider is governed by your agreement with that provider; the developer never receives it. You can regenerate the access token at any time in the app's "Connect AI" screen.
