Privacy Policy — K-Real Korean

1. Information We Collect

K-Real Korean does not collect any personal data. There is no sign-up and no login, and the app neither requests nor stores identifying information such as your name, email, phone number, or location. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

• Learning progress / streaks / XP / gems / bookmarks — saved only in your device's local storage (localStorage).
• Native language, UI language, and theme settings — app preferences, likewise stored only on your device.
• Lesson, slang, conversation and pack content — bundled inside the app. The NPC conversation practice runs entirely on-device and is script-based; no messages are sent to any server.

2. Data Transmission & Third-Party Sharing

K-Real Korean does not transmit any data off your device or share anything with third parties.

• No backend server — the app makes no network calls for your data.
• No analytics tools
• No crash-reporting SDKs
• No advertising or tracking identifiers (no IDFA usage)

Pronunciation playback uses the device's built-in text-to-speech and stays on-device; no personally identifying information is transmitted.

3. Payments (In-App Purchase)

K-Real Korean is free, with an optional one-time lifetime upgrade (K-Real Pro). All payments are handled by Apple through the App Store / StoreKit. K-Real Korean never sees or stores your payment details such as card numbers. Payment and refund data are governed by Apple's privacy policy. Purchase restoration is performed through your Apple account.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Because all data lives only on your device, you retain full control at all times.
• You can reset your progress directly inside the app.
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data (localStorage) with it. Your in-app purchase entitlement can be restored through your Apple account.

5. Accounts & Login

K-Real Korean requires no account, no login, and no identifiers such as email, phone number, or social sign-in.

6. Children's Privacy

K-Real Korean is designed to be safe for all ages (4+). It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It contains no objectionable content, no external links, and no user-to-user communication features (the conversation practice is with a built-in, on-device character, not other people).

7. Your Rights

Because all data stays on your device, you can exercise access, correction, and deletion rights directly through the in-app UI and iOS system settings. For GDPR / CCPA / other regulatory questions, contact us using the address below.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version and a new effective date will be posted on this page.
