Voice coaching is silent? Check the voice coaching frequency in Settings, and make sure media volume is up. With earphones connected to your iPhone, coaching plays through the earphones; otherwise through your watch.
No heart rate without an Apple Watch? Connect a Bluetooth heart rate monitor (chest strap) in the Workout tab to train with iPhone only.
