BurnCoach does not collect any personal data on our servers — we have no servers. All health and workout data stays on your devices and in your personal Apple Health store, under your control.
With your explicit permission, BurnCoach reads heart rate, workout, and related fitness data from Apple Health, and writes your workout sessions (heart rate samples, calories, distance, GPS route) back to Apple Health. This data is used solely to provide real-time heart-rate-zone coaching and your workout history/reports inside the app. It is processed on-device only. We never transmit health data to us or to any third party, never use it for advertising or marketing, and never sell it. You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy → Health.
If you connect a Bluetooth heart rate monitor (e.g., a chest strap), its readings are received directly by your iPhone over Bluetooth and processed on-device exactly like watch sensor data. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
For outdoor workouts, BurnCoach uses your location to record distance and your workout route. Routes are saved only to Apple Health on your device. Location is never sent to us or any third party.
Your watch and iPhone exchange workout data (heart rate, reports, settings, coaching voice requests) directly over Apple's local device-to-device channel (WatchConnectivity). This traffic stays between your own devices.
Workout history, reports, and settings are stored locally using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData) and Apple Health. They are included in your own encrypted device/iCloud backups if enabled — controlled entirely by you and Apple.
None. BurnCoach has no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking identifiers. The app works fully offline.
BurnCoach does not collect data from anyone, including children.
BurnCoach provides fitness guidance based on heart rate zones. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a physician before starting an exercise program.

블루투스 심박계(가슴 스트랩 등)를 연결하면 측정값은 iPhone이 블루투스로 직접 수신해 워치 센서 데이터와 동일하게 기기 안에서만 처리됩니다. 어디에도 업로드되지 않습니다.
실외 운동 시 거리와 이동 경로 기록을 위해 위치 정보를 사용합니다. 경로는 기기의 Apple 건강에만 저장되며, 개발자나 제3자에게 전송되지 않습니다.
