Privacy Policy — BizCard AI

1. Information We Collect / Store

BizCard AI does not transmit any information to any server. All data lives only inside the app sandbox on your device, or in iOS system areas (Contacts) that you have explicitly authorized.

• Business card images — captured via the camera or selected from the Photo Library. Processed entirely on-device and discarded immediately unless you choose to save them.
• OCR text results — extracted using Apple's on-device Vision / VisionKit frameworks. The text never leaves your device.
• Parsed contact data (name, company, phone, email, etc.) — stored inside the app or in iOS Contacts only when you explicitly save or export it.

2. Data Sharing

BizCard AI does not share any data with any third party.

• No analytics tools
• No crash-reporting SDKs
• No advertising or tracking identifiers (no IDFA usage)
• No backend server — the app makes no network calls at all

3. Permissions

The app may request the following iOS permissions, used strictly as described:

• Camera — to photograph business cards. Captured images are processed only on-device.
• Photo Library (optional) — used only if you choose to pick an existing image instead of taking a new photo. The app does not scan your entire library; it reads only the image you pick.
• Contacts — used only to save cards you explicitly tap "Add to Contacts" on. The app does not read or export your existing contacts.

You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings. Revoking a permission only limits the corresponding feature; no data is ever collected silently.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• You can delete saved cards inside the app at any time.
• Uninstalling the app immediately removes all in-app data (images, OCR results, parsed contacts) from the app sandbox.
• Entries saved to iOS Contacts are managed in the iOS Contacts app.

5. Accounts & Login

BizCard AI requires no account, no login, and no identifiers such as email, phone number, or social sign-in.

6. Your Rights

• Because all data stays on your device, you retain full control at all times.
• You can exercise access, correction, and deletion rights directly through the in-app UI and iOS system settings.

7. Children's Privacy

BizCard AI is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version and a new effective date will be posted on this page. Material changes will also be announced in-app.
